Currently, work at the construction site involves the removal of excess soil and the dismantling of old structures, as well as the preparation of reinforced concrete products and earthworks. Plans also include the installation of an asphalt concrete plant.
It should be noted that this project is not the only one being carried out in the Issyk-Kul region. The Ministry of Transport is also engaged in the reconstruction of roads leading to the Kychyn area, as well as in the Grigorievskoe and Semenovskoe gorges. These roads were previously gravel for their entire length, but they are promised to be paved by the Nomad Games.
The total length of the two reconstructed roads is 34 km. Last year, asphalt was laid over a 6 km section of the Semenovka - Ak-Suu road. On the Grigorievka - Kol - Kashka-Suu section, the road base has also been prepared, and the first layer of asphalt has begun to be laid. In 2025, blasting work was carried out to widen the roadway, culverts were installed, and bridges were repaired. The project includes the installation of 69 culverts and the restoration of five bridges, two of which have already been fully completed.
