As a result of the work of the Jayil District Prosecutor's Office, nine orphans were provided with land plots and received state acts allowing them to build housing.
Violations of the rights of orphans were identified during an inspection of compliance with legislation concerning their protection and housing rights. It was established that measures to provide this category of citizens with land plots were not taken properly.
In response, the prosecutor's office sent a response act to the Ak-Bashat rural administration, after which the violations were rectified.
According to Article 13 of the Code of the Kyrgyz Republic on Children and Article 43 of the Housing Code, the state is obliged to provide orphans and children left without parental care with housing. In the absence of housing, they have the right to receive housing on a priority basis upon reaching the age of 16.
