The city administration of Bishkek has regained control over the territory of the Eastern bus station.
It has been reported that this land plot was previously used by the LLC "Drivers' Union," where parking for various vehicles was organized. However, the use of this area was carried out without paying rent to the city budget.
Currently, the city administration has taken the necessary steps to reclaim the plot. The LLC "Drivers' Union" provided a guarantee letter committing to dismantle the structures located on the territory within three days.
At the moment, the process of clearing the territory of vehicles is underway, and the dismantling of fences is also being carried out.
In the future, a complete reconstruction of this area is planned. The Eastern bus station will be adapted for the operation of taxis and minivans heading to Kemin, Kant, and Tokmok.
According to the project, the area will be fully paved, outdoor lighting will be installed, road markings will be made, and necessary road signs will be placed.
