The process of returning the territory of the Eastern bus station to municipal ownership has been completed in Bishkek. Previously, this land plot was used by the LLC "Union of Drivers," which organized parking for various vehicles there. However, according to information from the city hall, this plot was used without paying rent to the city budget.
The city hall conducted all necessary actions to reclaim the plot. In response, the LLC "Union of Drivers" provided a guarantee letter stating that the facilities on the territory would be dismantled within three days.
Currently, the process of clearing the plot of vehicles is underway, and the dismantling of fences is also being carried out.
After these works are completed, the reconstruction of the plot is planned. The Eastern bus station will be fully adapted to serve taxis and minivans heading to Kemin, Kant, and Tokmok.
As part of the upcoming project, the area will be asphalted, outdoor lighting will be installed, road markings will be applied, and necessary road signs will be placed.
