In Batken Region, the energy system will be updated
In the Batken region, work has begun on the repair and modernization of electrical equipment, which is part of the preparation for the autumn-winter season of 2026–2027, according to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.
This year, a number of major activities are planned in the region aimed at improving the condition of electrical networks and ensuring stable electricity supply for consumers.
As part of the work with 6-10/0.4 kV transformers:
- a major overhaul of 284 transformers will be carried out;
- 1632 transformers will receive maintenance.
For overhead lines of 6-10/0.4 kV:
- a major overhaul of 1538 km of overhead lines is planned;
- 3847 km of overhead lines will undergo maintenance.
Regarding high-voltage overhead lines of 220/110/35 kV:
- 1400 km of lines will be surveyed, of which 20 km will be overhauled, and 1380 km will undergo current repairs. Additionally, 8772 new glass insulators will be installed.
For substations of 220/110/35 kV:
- 45 substations will receive scheduled maintenance;
- 5 substations will be overhauled.
Furthermore, in the Batken region, the installation of 54,587 units of smart metering devices (ASCUE) is planned. In several settlements, 32 km of self-supporting insulated wires SIP-2 and SIP-3 will also be laid.
As emphasized by the ministry, the main objective of these works is to enhance the reliability of electrical networks, reduce technical losses, and provide consumers with quality and uninterrupted electricity supply.
