According to information from the Ministry of Health's press service, the procurement and delivery of medicines, medical devices, and equipment for healthcare institutions continues, supported by UNDP. Currently, the necessary organizational and procurement procedures are being carried out to ensure timely delivery of goods to medical institutions.
Additionally, logistics issues and the stages of medical product deliveries within the framework of existing cooperation programs were discussed.
A working group involving national experts has been established to prepare the necessary documents, as the first window for submitting applications will open in early June. UNDP, acting as the implementing agency for several programs, will continue to provide expert and technical assistance in preparing applications and implementing grant activities.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation aimed at developing the resilience of public health, including the fight against tuberculosis and HIV, as well as strengthening the system for providing medicines.
