A mass food poisoning incident has occurred in the capital of Kyrgyzstan. This information was announced by representatives of the Department of Disease Prevention and Sanitary-Epidemiological Surveillance.
According to preliminary data, 13 people sought medical assistance. Of these, 11 were hospitalized, while two received outpatient treatment. Currently, all affected individuals are receiving the necessary medical care.
During the investigation, it was determined that all the affected individuals had eaten at the "Buffet" cafeteria. Sanitary service specialists conducted an unscheduled inspection of the establishment and sent food samples for laboratory analysis.
"Based on the identified violations, a protocol was drawn up, and the cafeteria was fined 23,000 soms. In addition, its activities have been temporarily suspended since March 11 of this year. The epidemiological investigation is ongoing," the statement noted.
