According to preliminary data, 13 people sought medical attention, of which 11 were hospitalized, and two are receiving outpatient treatment.
"It has been preliminarily established that the sick individuals consumed dishes,
prepared at the 'Buffet' cafeteria," the department's message states. Sanitary service specialists conducted an unscheduled inspection of the establishment and collected food samples for laboratory analysis.
As a result of identified violations, a protocol was drawn up, and a fine of 23,000 soms was imposed. Additionally, the cafeteria has temporarily suspended its activities from March 11, 2026, by order of the supervisory authorities.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
