The conflict arose during the discussion of changes in legislation related to the fight against drugs.
At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee dedicated to law and order and the fight against crime, deputies Meder Aliyev and Ulukbek Karybek uulu clashed once again.
The issue flared up during the discussion of amendments concerning the fight against drug trafficking.
Aliyev accused his colleague of populism, to which Karybek uulu responded with a call to adhere to parliamentary ethics.
In response, Aliyev countered that it is his opponent who is violating ethical norms, adding that "he acts like a theater artist."
This is not the first instance of disagreements between these deputies. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Marlen Mamataliyev has previously intervened, trying to reconcile them after several similar conflicts.
