Due to changing weather conditions, the opening of the northern part of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue in Bishkek has been postponed to this weekend. This was reported by representatives of the city administration.
It was previously scheduled to open the bridge on March 10 in the afternoon.
It should be noted that before the reconstruction, the width of the bridge was 9 meters. During the work carried out, the width of the northern side increased to 13 meters, and the total width of the bridge is now 34.3 meters, with a length of 25 meters.
It is planned that traffic will be organized on the northern side, and the opening of the southern part of the bridge is expected by the end of March.
At the moment, the relevant services continue to work on completing the reconstruction.
