The municipal authorities of Bishkek have announced that the northern side of the bridge on Jibek-Jolu Avenue will be put into operation over the weekend, thanks to the improved weather conditions.
Previously, the width of the bridge was 9 meters, but after the reconstruction, it has been expanded to 13 meters on the northern side. Now the total width of the bridge reaches 34.3 meters, and its length is 25 meters.
It is important to note that vehicle traffic will be organized on the northern side of the bridge, while the opening of the southern side is planned for the end of March.
During this time, the relevant services continue work to complete the reconstruction of the bridge.
