On March 10, the northern side of the bridge on Jibek Jolu Avenue will be opened in Bishkek, as reported by the city hall press service.
Before the reconstruction, the width of the bridge was 9 meters, but after the work was completed, it increased to 13 meters.
Due to worsening weather conditions and in order to improve convenience for residents, only one side of the bridge will be opened, which will accommodate traffic. The second side is expected to be accessible by the end of March.
Work on the final reconstruction is ongoing with the involvement of the relevant services.
