Due to changing weather conditions, the opening of the northern part of the bridge on Jibek Jolu Avenue in Bishkek has been postponed to the weekend. Previously, the city hall informed that the completion of work and the opening of the bridge were planned for March 10.
After the reconstruction, the bridge has significantly increased in size. The width of the northern side before the upgrade was 9 meters, and it has now increased to 13 meters. The total width of the bridge has reached 34.3 meters, while the length is 25 meters.
Traffic will be organized on the northern side of the bridge, while the opening of the southern side is expected by the end of the month.
Currently, services continue to work to complete the reconstruction of the facility within the established deadlines.
