"Too Much Negativity". The Deputy Suggested Discussing the Work of the Media in Parliament
During the discussion, Deputy Bolot Saginayev expressed concern about the increase of negative information in Kyrgyzstan's media space.
He stated: "There is an excess of negative information on social networks. I propose inviting broadcasting companies to discuss how the media covers negative events within the framework of this draft law during the second reading."
Committee Chair Toktobubu Ashimbaeva instructed the staff to prepare the necessary materials for further discussion.
Earlier, Bolot Saginayev also spoke about the need to ban the KOLFEST event at Issyk-Kul, claiming that the organizers present values that do not align with the traditions of the Kyrgyz people, and he appealed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Culture with this request.
