The message was sent to the WhatsApp number of the head of state
In response to questions and comments that arose on social media regarding the possibility of Azhiev's mother addressing the president through his personal WhatsApp number, the president's press secretary Askhat Alagozov published a video of the address and a screenshot of the number from which the message was sent.
“At the beginning of January, Azhiev's mother sent a request for clemency for her son to President Sadyr Japarov,” noted Alagozov.
