Deputy Minister of Health Temirbek Erkinov held a meeting with Altamash Wazir Khan, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

During the discussion, the participants addressed important issues regarding cooperation in the field of health care and medical education.

Particular attention was given to improving the quality of medical education for Pakistani students studying in Kyrgyz medical institutions.

The parties emphasized the need to strengthen academic ties, enhance educational standards, and expand practical training for students.

In addition, the prospects for direct cooperation between medical universities and health care institutions of both countries were discussed, including the exchange of experiences between teachers and doctors, as well as the organization of joint scientific events.
