
On February 27, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, attended by Deputy Minister Temirbek Erkinov and the Ambassador of Pakistan to Kyrgyzstan, Altamash Wazir Khan.
During this meeting, key aspects of cooperation in the field of healthcare and medical education were discussed. In particular, the improvement of education quality for Pakistani students studying in medical institutions in Kyrgyzstan was addressed.
The participants emphasized the importance of strengthening academic cooperation, enhancing educational standards, and expanding practical training for students.
Additionally, the parties explored opportunities for developing direct ties between medical universities and hospitals of the two countries, including the exchange of experiences between teachers and doctors, as well as organizing joint scientific events.
As a result of the meeting, mutual interest in further developing bilateral cooperation in the field of medical education and healthcare was confirmed.
