According to information provided by the Department of Internal Affairs of the Talas region, an order No. 55-t has been in effect from February 12 to 20 of this year, under which the "Arsenal" event is being carried out.
As part of this raid, officers from the city police and district departments of internal affairs from the Talas, Bakai-Ata, Aitmatov, and Manas districts are monitoring firearms owners and hunters. Special attention is being paid to checking permit documents and the conditions for storing firearms.
As a result of the inspections, local residents voluntarily and free of charge handed over 21 units of firearms to the Talas City Department of Internal Affairs: 7 from the city of Talas, 5 from the Talas district, 2 from the Bakai-Ata district, 5 from the Aitmatov district, and 2 from the Manas district. In addition, 12 protocols have been drawn up against citizens who violated the established rules.
