In the Bakai-Ata District, 7 pistols were seized
According to the press service of the Internal Affairs Department, as part of the inspection, officers from the Bakai-Ata district conducted checks on firearm owners to ensure compliance with the rules and conditions of storage.
During the raid, local residents voluntarily handed over 8 units of firearms to the police, including 7 gas-traumatic pistols and 1 smoothbore weapon.
Four administrative protocols were drawn up against owners who did not comply with the storage requirements.
Law enforcement officials emphasize that the main goal of the "Arsenal" operation is to prevent crimes involving firearms and combat their illegal circulation. "Owners must strictly adhere to storage rules: firearms should be kept in secure safes, inaccessible to outsiders. Violations may result in administrative measures and the possibility of revoking permits," the Regional Internal Affairs Department noted.
Preventive measures throughout the region will continue until February 20.
