According to information from the press service of the Talas region's Internal Affairs Department, the activities were organized based on a protocol directive adopted during a meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 30, 2025. These raids, named "Arsenal," were initiated to enhance control over the circulation of firearms.
During the operation, an inventory of civilian firearms was conducted, as well as checks on ammunition, award weapons, and compliance with storage regulations.
As a result of the inspections, police officers seized 51 units of firearms, including: 9 rifled, 37 smoothbore, 4 gas-traumatic, and 1 award weapon.
