In the Tyup District, residents voluntarily surrendered 26 units of firearms
Colonel of Police Tilek Kanatbekov, who heads the Tyup District Department of Internal Affairs, is participating in the event.
Some residents have decided to voluntarily surrender registered firearms. To date, a total of 26 firearms and one gas-traumatic pistol have been handed over.
The main goal of the campaign is to inform citizens about the rules for the legal handling of weapons and to prevent the storage of illegal weapons and ammunition.
Representatives of the district police noted that similar initiatives to enhance safety in the area will continue in the future.
