According to the information from the agency, from February 7 to 9, avalanches and snowfalls are expected in mountainous areas due to the precipitation that has fallen and is anticipated. Snowdrifts and icy conditions are possible on the roads.
The most dangerous sections:
- the Bishkek — Osh road: sections from 121 to 138 km (Tоо-Ashuu pass) and from 198 to 255 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- the Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya road: sections from 65 to 101 km (Chapchyma pass);
- the Krasnaya Gorka — Ak-Tash road: 0-3 km;
- the Myrza-Ake — Kara-Kuldja — Alaykuu road: sections from 65 to 110 km;
- the Karakol — Enilchek road: sections from 45 to 90 km (Chon-Ashuu pass).
MES employees strongly recommend maintaining a distance of 500 meters between vehicles when passing through dangerous areas.
