The deputy emphasized that the elevators in the institution are in an emergency state, and it is cold in the wards, while the windows and doors require repairs.
“Every year, about 15,000 people undergo rehabilitation in Vorontsovka. This is a unique institute where highly qualified specialists work. It is very important that the conditions for work and treatment meet the standards,” noted Gulsunkan Junushalieva.
She urged the Minister of Health to visit this facility and personally assess the situation. Earlier, committee members recommended taking measures to modernize the institute's equipment, carry out major repairs, improve the quality of services provided, and increase the salaries of employees.
The building of the medical institution was constructed in 1984 and has not undergone major repairs since then.
