The Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh Familiarized Itself with the Activities of the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation Treatment
During the meeting, the deputies learned about the key problems of the institute. Despite the lack of major repairs for over 30 years, the institution continues to operate and serves about 13,000 patients from various regions of the country each year.
Deputy Gulnara Baatyrova emphasized the importance of the institute for society and highlighted the need to create comfortable conditions for patients. She proposed to pay attention to free treatment for heroic mothers and the necessity of providing the institution with ambulances.
Gulkan Moldobekova, another deputy, pointed out the insufficient funding for providing meals, stressing that an increase is required. She also raised the issue of providing housing for medical workers.
Toktobubu Ashymbaeva, focusing on the status of the institute as a leading scientific and medical center in the field of balneology and rehabilitation, emphasized the need to improve conditions for patients, including enhancing the quality of treatment for people with disabilities and children.
Committee members proposed to take measures to modernize the institute's equipment, carry out major repairs, improve the quality of medical services, and increase staff salaries.
