The Housing Committee familiarized itself with the activities of the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation Treatment
The director of the institute, Daniyar Kaskeev, reported that the building was constructed in 1984 and has not undergone major repairs since then. Nevertheless, the institute continues its operations, annually receiving about 13,000 patients from various parts of the country.
Gulnara Baatyrova, a deputy, emphasized the importance of the institute for society and highlighted the need to create a comfortable and accessible environment for patients. She also drew attention to the issue of free treatment for heroic mothers and the necessity of providing the institution with emergency medical assistance.
According to Gulkan Moldobekova, a deputy, the current funding allocated for food is insufficient, and she called for its increase. She also addressed the problem of housing shortages for medical workers.
Toktobubu Ashymbaeva, a deputy, stressed that the institute holds a leading position in the country in the field of balneology and rehabilitation, and noted the importance of creating comfortable conditions for patients. She paid special attention to the need to improve the quality of treatment for people with disabilities and children.
Committee members recommended taking steps to modernize medical equipment at the Kyrgyz Scientific Research Institute of Resortology and Rehabilitation, carry out major repairs, improve the quality of medical services provided, and increase staff salaries.
