The risk of avalanches exists on the Bishkek — Osh highway, particularly at kilometers 198–255: Ala-Bel Pass and Chychkan Gorge;
Also on the Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya road, on the section from 65 to 101 kilometers: Chapchyma Pass;
On the route from Krasnaya Gorka to Ak-Tash, especially at kilometers 0–3;
On the Myrza-Ake — Kara-Kulja — Alaykuu highway, on the section from 65 to 110 kilometers;
And on the Karakol — Enilchek road, in the area of kilometers 45–90: Chon-Ashuu Pass.
Snow drifts are also expected in the mountainous areas, and roads may be slippery due to ice. Drivers are advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
