In the Bishkek city hall, a dialogue took place between Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
According to the press service of the city hall, the meeting discussed joint projects related to the city's heating and water supply, as well as Bishkek's participation in the "Green Cities" program implemented by the EBRD.
The mayor shared information with the bank representatives about significant projects being carried out in Bishkek. These projects include the creation of an eco-technological plant, as well as activities for greening and improving air quality in the city. In 2025, it is planned to plant 19,000 trees, and in 2026 – about 50,000 seedlings.
EBRD representatives, in turn, confirmed their readiness to support the implementation of projects outlined in the general development plan for the capital until 2050.
“We highly appreciate your assistance. You provide support at all stages of the projects — from preparation to implementation. We are always open to cooperation and hope for further interaction,” said Aibek Junushaliev.
As a result of the meeting, the parties confirmed their intention to continue joint cooperation in the implementation of projects.
