The Minister of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy, Mirbek Mambetaliev, reported on the work of the commission that is selecting the best musical and lyrical options for the anthem. According to him, out of all 900 proposed projects, the commission selected three.
However, the Jogorku Kenesh rejected the three options for the new anthem. The specialized commission responsible for the new version of the anthem includes deputies Nurchamal Torobekova, Baktyyar Kalpaev, Ulanbek Zhaanbaev, Kamila Talieva, and Venera Salyamova.
The competition will continue until June 1.
