A special parliamentary commission has been established in the Jogorku Kenesh to select the national anthem.
Each parliamentary group has already appointed its representatives to the commission:
- “Adilet Kyrgyzstan” — Nurjamal Torobekova
- “Ala-Too” — Baktyyar Kalpaev
- “Menkechil” — Venera Salyamova
- “Eldik” — Ulan Zhaanbaev
- “Ata-Jurt” — Kamila Talieva
She also added: “The issue requires public discussion. This is a very important topic. The Jogorku Kenesh faces a serious task,” noted the deputy.
The work of the commission is scheduled to continue until June 1, 2026.
