Ecologists uncovered the illegal captivity of the Red Book golden eagle in Kara-Kuldzha
According to information from the press service of the Ministry of Nature, a golden eagle was found in the Kara-Kulja district, which was kept illegally. For this violation, the owner of the bird was fined 20,000 soms, and the eagle was returned to its natural habitat.
Information about the illegal keeping of the eagle was received on January 27 by the Osh regional office of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service. As a result, inspectors, together with representatives of NABU and the Bars-2 group, conducted an inspection and identified the owner of the bird.
After completing all necessary procedures, a protocol was drawn up in accordance with Article 262-1 of the Code of Offenses, and a fine was imposed. Specialists successfully released the eagle back into the wild.
