In Osh Region, a local resident was found with a red-listed golden eagle.
In the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, it was discovered that one of the local residents was illegally keeping a golden eagle, which is protected by the Red Book of the Kyrgyz Republic. This was reported by the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the KR.
Inspectors from the Osh Regional Department of the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service, together with representatives from the NABU organization and the "Bars-2" group, carried out the necessary measures regarding this case.
As a result of the inspection, a protocol was drawn up against the offender, who was fined 20,000 soms.
The confiscated golden eagle was returned to its natural habitat.
