The draft law "On the Ratification of the Loan Agreement between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Saudi Development Fund for the project 'Construction of Public Schools' Phase 2" has been approved by the Jogorku Kenesh. This document was signed on October 9, 2025, in Bishkek.
According to information from the Ministry of Construction, the loan funds, allocated in US dollars, will be used over a period of 25 years. These funds will be directed towards the construction of five new schools and seven additional educational buildings in Bishkek, as well as two new educational institutions in the Chui region. The project is scheduled to start in 2026, with completion planned for 2029. Of this period, two years are allocated for construction, and one year for the warranty period. The total loan amount will be 50 million dollars.
