Due to the forecasted precipitation, from January 27 to 29, there is a risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the agency's information, avalanche-prone areas are located on the roads Bishkek-Osh (between 198-255 km, Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge) and Karakol-Enilchek (45-90 km, Chon-Ashuu Pass). In these zones, snow drifts, ice, and snow accumulation are also possible.
It is important to note that when passing through avalanche-prone areas, drivers should maintain a safe distance of 500 meters between vehicles.
