The State Committee for National Security (SCNS) has initiated a series of inspections regarding "Elit-Stroy-City" after investors appealed to President Sadyr Japarov and SCNS head Kamchybek Tashiev for assistance due to delays in the handover of apartments and prolonged construction timelines. This was reported by the press service of the SCNS.
On January 26, a meeting was held at the Osh Main Department of the SCNS with the company's leaders — B.K. Kasymzhanov, B. Ali uulu, and U.O. Sultanov. Representatives from the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services of the Kyrgyz Republic also participated in the discussion.
At the meeting, representatives of "Elit-Stroy-City" voiced the reasons negatively affecting the pace of construction and explained why they are unable to meet the deadlines for handing over the facilities for self-finishing. In turn, they were reminded of the state policy aimed at supporting entrepreneurship and the necessity to strictly adhere to the laws and fulfill their obligations to the investors.
The company's management committed to completing the construction and handing over the facilities for self-finishing by September 2026.
The SCNS also notified the management of "Elit-Stroy-City" about the imposition of restrictions on leaving the country until the construction work is completed, as well as the introduction of enhanced control over the phased handover of the facilities.
