According to local residents, the incident occurred on the night of January 19. The next day, on January 20, the bodies of the 15-year-old girl and a 25-year-old driver were found in the charred vehicle.
“S.T. was very kind, did well in school, and was one of the best students. Today, she was escorted on her final journey by her fellow villagers, parents, relatives, and classmates,” said the villagers.
The press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Chuy region previously reported that on January 20 at 09:53, a report was received at the duty station of the Moscow district police about a silver Volkswagen Golf 3 that had burned on the eastern outskirts of the village of Spartak, on a wasteland near the lake on the western side, on the roadside.
A forensic investigative team arrived at the scene and established that there were two fatalities in the vehicle. The driver was in the front seat, and the passenger was in the rear right seat.
The identities of the deceased have been confirmed. The driver was O.E., born in 2000, a resident of the village of Spartak, and the passenger was T.S., born in 2010, a 10th-grade student at Spartak Secondary School.
As reported by the Main Internal Affairs Directorate, following the investigation, it was established that O.E. purchased the vehicle on January 11, 2026, at a car market, and on January 13, he approached electrician S.S. with a complaint about a malfunctioning left headlight. The electrician noted the extremely poor technical condition of the car—exposed electrical wires, safety violations, the smell of gasoline, and smoke in the cabin—warning the owner about the high danger of further operation.
Turmush reported that in the village of Telman in the Panfilov district, on January 22, the funeral of a young man took place, whose body was found in a burned car on a wasteland near the village of Spartak.
The father of the deceased young man is from the village of Telman. According to available information, he is survived by his mother and younger sister.
