Additionally, to legally stay in Russia, several important steps must be taken in accordance with the legislation of this country:
- within 30 days, undergo a medical examination, as well as register with fingerprinting and photography;
- within 30 days, register with the migration authorities at the relevant territorial body at the place of temporary stay. For citizens arriving in Moscow and the Moscow region for employment, registration is done through the "Amina" app, while family members can register according to general rules;
- conclude an employment or civil law contract;
- within 90 days, extend the temporary stay based on the employment or civil law contract, obtaining a stamp on the migration card from the migration authorities.
