Kyrgyz citizens are advised to check in advance for any entry bans and to comply with registration rules.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Security, and Migration of the Kyrgyz Republic reminds citizens planning to work in Russia about important aspects of Russian legislation.
Before traveling to the Russian Federation, it is recommended to ensure that there are no entry bans by checking the relevant information on the website of the Employment Center for Citizens Abroad, which operates under the Ministry of Labor of Kyrgyzstan — migrant.kg.
To legally reside and work in the territory of the Russian Federation, Kyrgyz citizens must complete the following mandatory steps:
- within 30 days of entry, undergo a medical examination, as well as fingerprint registration and photography;
- within 30 days, register at the place of temporary residence. For those who arrived in Moscow and the Moscow region for employment, registration is done through the "Amina" application. Family members are registered according to general rules;
- sign an employment or civil law contract;
- within 90 days, extend the temporary stay based on the employment or civil law contract, obtaining the appropriate mark in the migration card at the migration authorities.
