The Ministry of Labor, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan has provided important clarifications for citizens planning to work in Russia.
The agency recommends that all Kyrgyz citizens visit the employment center website migrant.kg before departure to ensure they are not on the list of individuals prohibited from entering the territory of the Russian Federation.
For legal residence in Russia, according to local legislation, several mandatory steps must be taken:
- within 30 days of arrival, undergo a medical examination, fingerprint registration, and take a photograph;
- also within 30 days, it is necessary to register with the migration authority at the place of temporary residence. Citizens arriving in Moscow and the Moscow region for work can use the "Amina" app for migration registration; their family members must register according to general rules;
- it is necessary to conclude an employment or civil law contract;
- within 90 days, extend the period of temporary stay based on the signed contract, obtaining a stamp in the migration authorities on the migration card.
