A new four-lane road is planned to be built to Manas Airport
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev reviewed the project concerning the construction of an alternative road to Manas International Airport. During a meeting with the Minister of Transport and Communications Abasattar Syrgabaev, as well as representatives of the relevant agencies, the goals of the project, its technical specifications, and key implementation stages were discussed.
According to the presented plan, it is proposed to construct a four-lane highway 17 kilometers long, which will start from the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with the Young Guard Boulevard. The project also includes the creation of a two-level transport interchange, installation of lighting, and landscaping works.
The next stage involves conducting research and design work.
In addition, in the Chuy region, the construction of a two-lane road and a bridge 8.7 km long is planned on the section from the village of Mramornoye to the village of Vinogradnoye.
The implementation of this project aims to reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, improve infrastructure, and develop interregional connections.
