Near Bishkek, the construction of an alternative road to the airport is being considered.
At the meeting, Minister of Transport Abasattar Syrgabaev and his colleagues discussed the goals of the new project, as well as its technical specifications and implementation stages.
It is expected that the new four-lane road, stretching 17 kilometers, will begin at the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with the Young Guard Boulevard. As part of the project, a two-level transport interchange is planned, along with the installation of lighting and landscaping of the area.
It is also reported that research and design work will be conducted in the future.
In addition, the possibility of constructing a two-lane road and a bridge 8.7 kilometers long, which will connect the village of Mramornoye with the village of Vinogradnoye, is being considered in the Chuy region.
The Ministry of Transport emphasized that the implementation of the project aims to reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, improve infrastructure, and develop interregional connections.
