Bakyt Torobaev familiarized himself with the project of an alternative road to Manas Airport.
The Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, Bakyt Torobaev, got acquainted with the project of a new alternative road leading to Manas International Airport.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Minister Absattar Syrgaibaev and other representatives of the ministry discussed the planned works, project goals, technical specifications, and implementation stages. The length of the new four-lane road will be 17 kilometers.
Construction will begin at the intersection of the Northern Bypass Road of Bishkek with Young Guard Boulevard, where a two-level transport interchange will be provided, as well as lighting and landscaping.
Further research and design work is planned.
In addition, the possibility of creating a two-lane road and a bridge 8.7 kilometers long connecting the villages of Mramornoe and Vinogradnoe is being discussed in the Chui region.
It is important to note that this project aims to reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, and improve infrastructure, as well as to develop interregional connections.
