Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic: Indefinite Rights Remain in Effect If You Do Not Travel Abroad
The official's response regarding the need to update documents
Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Boobek Salimzhanov stated that holders of indefinite rights can continue to use them without any restrictions, provided they do not plan to travel abroad.
In response to citizens' questions about the urgent need to replace documents, the official noted that the voluntary nature of this procedure is emphasized in government institutions.
Salimzhanov clarified: "Drivers in Kyrgyzstan who have indefinite driver's licenses can continue to use them without restrictions. The new requirements regarding the validity of licenses only apply to those who intend to travel outside the country, in accordance with international standards. Within the territory of Kyrgyzstan, old licenses remain fully valid."
