The Ministry of Culture is working on a new draft law
Bloggers with more than 10,000 subscribers who earn income from advertising materials will be required to pay taxes. This was reported by journalist Elaman Karymshakov on his social media.
The information is based on a response from the Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy Marat Tagaev, sent to one of the participants of the IV People's Kurultai. The letter states that the ministry is developing a draft law concerning mandatory tax reporting for bloggers. Details will be available after the document goes through the public discussion stage.
