A Unified Policy for Livestock Markets Will Be Implemented in the Chui Region
In the Chui region, the implementation of a unified policy for livestock markets will begin. This was announced at a meeting dedicated to regional issues by Azamat Osmonov, the authorized representative of the president.
According to him, work to organize private livestock markets will begin immediately. In cases where private entrepreneurs cannot provide adequate conditions, municipal livestock markets will be organized.
“For example, in the Kemin district, the construction of a new livestock market is underway. In the Chui district, a temporary market with necessary conditions was created in just 10 days. The previously existing livestock market in Tokmok was in such a state that it was impossible to enter. I also visited the well-known municipal market in the Sokuluk district, and the situation there is not better: veterinary control and livestock accounting leave much to be desired, and the tariffs are unclear. These issues require attention and the introduction of cashless payments,” Osmonov added.
In the future, according to the innovations, livestock markets that do not meet established standards will not be able to operate. The introduction of strict veterinary and sanitary control will become mandatory, and the movement of livestock in markets will be recorded with particular care.
“Previously, private livestock markets operated without adhering to veterinary, sanitary, and environmental requirements. I consider this as negligence. Such inaction is a form of corruption,” he noted.
Additionally, it is reported that parking zones near livestock and trading markets will gradually be digitized, and QR code systems for cashless payments will be implemented.
It should be noted that at the end of last year, the private livestock market in Tokmok was closed due to non-compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements. A temporary livestock market was organized in the village of Vinogradnoe in the Chui district.
The Akim of the Kemin district, Kutpidin Shakirov, who was present at the meeting, added that the construction of a modern livestock market in the Ayil Okmotu Chym-Korgon is planned to be completed in the shortest possible time and put into operation.
