Authorities of the Moscow District explain to residents the reasons for the closure of the livestock market

Today, January 11, in the Chui region, in the Moscow district, livestock intended for sale at the local market was sent to Sokuluk, as reported by a correspondent from Turmush citing a representative of the district state administration.
According to the agency, the livestock market in the village of Belovodskoye in the Moscow district of the Chui region was closed due to non-compliance with sanitary and veterinary requirements. It was closed on December 28, 2025.

The village of Belovodskoye is the district center, where a livestock market traditionally took place every Sunday.

“Meetings are being held in the district with local residents, as well as explanatory work through social networks and orally. A special raid was conducted today, during which clarifications were reiterated and informational leaflets were distributed. Some of the livestock brought by certain residents to the market was transported free of charge to the Sokuluk district livestock market using vehicles organized by local authorities. In the future, the temporary livestock market in the Moscow district will not operate,” the akimat reported.



Currently, the livestock market is empty. There are no sellers or buyers.



Turmush previously reported that on December 28, 2025, the livestock market in the village of Belovodskoye in the Moscow district of the Chui region was closed due to non-compliance with sanitary and veterinary requirements.

The reason for the closure of the livestock market was explained by the Ayil Okmotu Narzan as follows:
“The livestock market located at: Belovodskoye village, Lomonosov Street, 1, does not meet veterinary and sanitary requirements and standards. In accordance with the government resolution of the KR dated June 18, 2015, No. 377, the activities of this livestock market, as well as the sale of agricultural animals in the adjacent territory, are prohibited in the future.”

The relevant announcement was posted at the entrance to the market and explained to the citizens.
