The mother of the injured serviceman, who is currently in a coma, has appealed to the head of state to pay attention to her son's fate.
According to the president's press secretary Askat Alagozov, the Minister of Health has been instructed to ensure urgent medical assistance. The possibility of transporting the serviceman to Bishkek or, if necessary, abroad is also being considered. Alagozov noted that he has already contacted the mother of the injured, Baktygul Ajimatova.
According to the Border Service, serviceman Daniyar Nurbekov, born in 2004, was serving in the Leylek district and sustained injuries as a result of falling from a service vehicle, a UAZ-Pickup, while it was in motion.
The incident occurred around 08:30 on the Ak-Suu — Razzakov highway, presumably due to severe jolting on the mountain road. After the fall, the serviceman lost consciousness.
He received first aid on the spot and was then taken to the intensive care unit of the Leylek district hospital. On the same day, a team of doctors from Osh performed surgery.
At present, the condition of the serviceman is assessed as seriously stable. He is receiving necessary treatment, and medical staff are monitoring his condition around the clock. An experienced neurosurgeon has been sent to the hospital, and consultations are being conducted jointly with the Ministry of Health.
Transportation to Bishkek is also being discussed, but for medical reasons, it will only be possible after the patient's condition stabilizes.
