A traffic accident involving a conscript soldier occurred on April 4, 2026.
Military personnel from the Leilek Border Detachment were en route to their duty station at the "Kairagach" outpost.
At approximately 08:30 on the Ak-Suu – Razakov highway, during the movement of a service "UAZ-Pickup," Private N. D.N. fell from the truck bed. According to preliminary data, the fall occurred due to severe jolting of the vehicle on the mountain road. As a result of the incident, the soldier lost consciousness.
Immediately after the incident, an ambulance crew was called. Private N. D.N. was urgently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Leilek District Hospital, where he received first medical aid. On the same day, a specialized team of doctors from the city of Osh performed emergency surgery.
At present, the condition of the injured soldier is assessed as stable but serious, and he is receiving the necessary medical care. Although state authorities have the resources to transport him to Bishkek, this is not possible for medical reasons until Private N. D.N.'s condition is fully stabilized.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Health, an experienced neurosurgeon has been sent to the Leilek District Hospital for further treatment and consultations.
The medical service of the State Border Service, together with the hospital doctors, has organized round-the-clock monitoring of the injured soldier's condition.
An operational group has been established under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the State Border Service. A service investigation has been initiated to clarify all circumstances and causes of the incident. The situation is under control.
