After the early resignation of Kuanychbek Kongantieva, the deputy mandate for the Lenin single-mandate district No. 21 in Bishkek remains vacant. Chingiz Aydarbekov, who was expected to take on the role of the new deputy, has not yet begun his duties.

As reported by 24.kg, the Central Election Commission (CEC) is currently working on clarifying some details, which will affect the final decision regarding the transfer of the mandate. The CEC emphasized that the consideration of Aydarbekov's candidacy will take place after all necessary checks are completed.

Chingiz Aydarbekov previously served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and was a deputy in the previous convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh. In the last parliamentary elections, he received 6,259 votes.

Kuanychbek Kongantieva was elected as a deputy for district No. 21, garnering over 13,000 votes. He submitted his mandate on March 10, and the following day he was detained by the State Committee for National Security (GKNB). Investigative authorities suspect him of organizing illegal schemes related to land plots, involving affiliated individuals and legal entities.
