What is happening with the institution of elections and parliament: purification or degradation?
An image has surfaced online presenting a list of deputies, allegedly subject to dismissal from the parliament of Kyrgyzstan. The main reason cited for this is their connections with the former head of the State National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev.
Some deputies have already decided to leave their positions in the Jogorku Kenesh voluntarily. This list includes Nurlanbek Azigaliev, Shaiyrbek Tashiev, Kurmankul Zulushiev, Kuvanychbek Kongantiev (who is in pre-trial detention), Kunduzbek Sulaymanov, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, Eldar Sulaymanov, and Gulsunkhan Junushalieva.
Additionally, Janarbek Akayev has been appointed mayor of Osh by presidential decree.
