After Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu left his position as the speaker of parliament, several deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh expressed their opinions.
Janar Akayev, a deputy, noted that Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu diligently performed his duties as speaker and did not allow political games to affect the work of the Jogorku Kenesh.
“You demonstrated honesty in your work. I especially want to emphasize your contribution to the translation of documentation into the Kyrgyz language and the adoption of the Constitutional Law on the State Language. Your efforts in the development of the Kyrgyz language are invaluable,” Akayev stressed.
He also reminded of significant systemic laws that were adopted under the leadership of Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu, including the law on the rehabilitation of repressed ancestors and the law on education.
“As a speaker, you made a significant contribution to this work, and we are proud to have had the opportunity to collaborate with you. We highly appreciate your activities. The position you held is not just a title, and not everyone can leave their post with their head held high,” the deputy added.
